Future APM Projects
MHJIT Extension
The extension of the existing APM to the forthcoming new Maynard H. Jackson, Jr.,
International Terminal (MHJIT) will serve as the primary passenger connection to
the existing CPTC and concourses. Currently scheduled for operation in early 2012,
the 1,200 foot extension to the east includes:
- A new passenger station
- Two guideway tunnels
- Extension of the existing test track
- An additional Light Maintenance and Storage Facility
- A 'drive through' APM car wash
