MASTER PLAN PUBLIC WORKSHOP #3
SEPTEMBER 18, 2014

Public Workshop #3 reviewed the Master Plan Process, and the resultant draft recommended plan. Additionally, the workshop provided the opportunity for the public to ask questions and offer comment on the Master Plan. Department of Aviation staff were in attendance and provided information and answered questions. AIRPORT MASTER PLAN DEMAND/CAPACITY ANALYSIS
AND FACILITY REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY, OCTOBER 1, 2013

The purpose of the Airport Master Plan Demand/Capacity Analysis and Facility Requirements Summary document is to present the relationship between current capacity of existing airport systems and the systems’ abilities to accommodate future demand levels. This document highlights the key findings from the analysis and potential limitations of a given system to handle greater levels of future demand based on today’s configuration and use. MASTER PLAN PUBLIC WORKSHOP #2,  APRIL 11, 2013

Public Workshop #2 reviewed the topics of Master Plan Process, Activity Forecasts and introduced the topics of Capacity / Demand and Facility Requirements Analysis. Presentation boards used in Public Workshop #2 are available here.

 

AIRPORT MASTER PLAN INVENTORY, FEBRUARY 2, 2013

This Airport Master Plan Inventory document presents a description of the physical, operational, and functional characteristics of the Airport and its immediate environs. The inventory information presented in this section of the master plan provides the basis for evaluating facilities and determining future facility needs for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The Airport Master Plan Inventory document is divided into eleven sections as follows; airport setting, historical background, airspace and air traffic control facilities, airfield facilities, passenger terminal facilities, ground access and parking, rail transit systems, support and ancillary facilities, environmental conditions, meteorological data, utilities. AIRPORT MASTER PLAN STATUS UPDATE FOR THE ATLANTA CITY COUNCIL - TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, NOVEMBER 28, 2012

AIRPORT MASTER PLAN AVIATION ACTIVITY FORECASTS, OCTOBER 25, 2012

This Airport Master Plan Aviation Activity Forecasts document presents a discussion of historical aviation activity trends at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and summarizes forecasts of aviation activity through 2031. The forecasts presented are not constrained by any assumptions about the availability, or lack of availability, of existing and future Airport facilities.
