Hartsfield-Jackson teams with Atlanta Workforce Development Authority to conduct an Airport area job fair

Attendees will be able to choose from Airport positions and opportunities in the surrounding communities.

ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is partnering with the Atlanta Workforce Development Authority to host an Airport community job fair on Wednesday, March 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park.

The job fair enables candidates to speak directly with potential employers representing companies doing business at the Airport and in the neighboring communities.

“We’re proud to co-host this event,” said Aviation General Manager Louis Miller. “This program, much like our past job fairs, is a very tangible example of how Hartsfield-Jackson helps generate economic impact in the communities we serve.”

A sample of the available positions includes cashiers, cooks, maintenance workers, drivers, sales managers, customer service representatives, hosts, security officers and mechanics. Candidates are asked to bring several copies of their resume and a photo I.D.

The Georgia International Convention Center is located at 2000 Convention Center Concourse in College Park. Attendees are encouraged to take MARTA to the Airport and then take the ATL SkyTrain to the convention center.
