Hartsfield-Jackson’s Jazz in the Atrium returns tonight

ATLANTA – The 12th annual Jazz in the Atrium music series returns to the domestic terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport tonight. The two-week program features performances by mostly local artists from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. each weekday through May 24.

“Travelers can expect more unforgettable performances during this popular music series,” said Katherine Dirga, Airport Art Program manager. “We’re encouraging all passengers and employees to take a moment this evening and enjoy the relaxing sounds of jazz.”

Jazz in the Atrium is presented in conjunction with the 36th annual Atlanta Jazz Festival (May 25 -27), which is organized by the City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs. Hartsfield-Jackson’s music series provides a sampling of the sounds that music lovers will experience at venues throughout the city during the festival.
