Airport Atlanta Fire Rescue Department to Simulate and Extinguish Plane Fire

Training exercise is part of annual certification for Airport rescue firefighters

WHO: Atlanta Fire Rescue Department and firefighters

WHAT: This is a notification of the live fire burns that Atlanta Fire Rescue Airport Training Division has scheduled for the week of March 17 and March 24.


Please advise readers/viewers that this is strictly a TRAINING EXERCISE. There will be heavy dark smoke as a result of this drill that can be seen from the interstate which may cause a high volume of phone calls from motorists and residents.
