Around Hartsfield-Jackson

Aviation General Manager Ben DeCosta
will brief area officials on construction projects at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport during the Atlanta Regional Commission’s monthly board meeting on March 22. Government leaders from metro Atlanta’s 13-county region will hear an update on Airport projects and their impact on the region’s economy and development. The Atlanta Regional Commission is located in the Loudermilk Building at 40 Courtland Street in downtown Atlanta. The meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Aviation General Manager Ben DeCosta will celebrate Women’s History Month as a guest speaker during the “Women Flying High” luncheon on March 31, at the Carter Center. The noon luncheon is held as part of the Power of Women Conference which honors the achievements of female entrepreneurs. The Women Flying High Initiative is designed to increase awareness of business opportunities and encourage women business ownership.
