EXECUTIVE CONFERENCE CENTER CELEBRATES 10th ANNIVERSARY

Amazing how time flies at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. It has been 10 years since the Executive Conference Center opened its doors – in the midst of the 1996 Summer Olympics -- for passengers to conduct business inside the Atlanta Airport.

The Center has reached a major milestone, marking one decade of existence.

The Center is conveniently located in the Atrium of the Airport terminal. Its goal is to be relentlessly customer service focused, developing and maintaining customer relationships through superb service and communication. The Center has consistently earned high guest satisfaction ratings and it maintains more than a 50 percent repeat customer base.

The Center opened with three employees, serving clients only during City Hall’s regular business hours of 8:15 a.m. until 5 p.m. Food was not allowed in the Center and tables and chairs could not be arranged according to request. It began as a cookie cutter operation. Now the Center’s operating hours may be adjusted to meet customer needs and meals are offered as part of the sales packages. With its 23 meeting rooms, a variety of room layouts are available to accommodate various sized groups. The Executive Conference Center averages hosting from 80 to 100-plus meetings and events monthly. Its clientele includes many of the major Fortune 100 companies and national and international companies with corporate locations in Atlanta or the Southeast. The Center has been featured in Meetings South and Meetings West magazines, as well as England’s Airports of the World magazine.


EXECUTIVE LUXURY

The Executive Conference Center is a full service, state-of-the-art meeting facility. It is meticulously designed with upscale features including marble floors, mahogany woodwork and more. The International Association of Conference Centers (IACC) has certified the Center, recognizing its superb services and facility qualities for successful meetings. The Center consists of approximately 25,000 square feet of space, 23 meeting rooms, including classrooms, boardrooms, a VIP suite and computer workstations. Meeting rooms boast ergonomically designed chairs, controlled lighting, and the quietness and privacy so vital to successful meetings.

FOUR-STAR SERVICE

The Executive Conference Center brings thousands of passengers to Hartsfield-Jackson each year. The current client base consists of over 2,500 companies. With 50 percent of the Center’s bookings being repeat clients, it is a symbol of meeting satisfaction. For convenience and cost effectiveness, the Executive Conference Center offers a Day Meeting Package that includes meeting rooms, continental breakfast, lunch, continuous refreshments, as well as conference services and basic audio-visual equipment capabilities. Conference Center staff provides support such as conference planning, business services, video-conferencing and technical support.

The Executive Conference Center recently introduced its EXECUTIVE SERVICES.

The GUEST LOUNGE offers a relaxed environment with comfortable furniture, newspapers, magazines, a television monitor, and telephone. Wireless internet access is available through multiple vendors in the Airport. Refreshments available.

In the INTERNET CAFÉ clients can enjoy light refreshments, while utilizing wireless internet service provided by multiple vendors. Clients must provide their own computers.

The Center’s HOSPITALITY SUITE offers a pleasant upscale suite to greet guests and socialize in a private setting. Clients may wish to provide registration, issue information about a conference or event, or host VIPs, while they wait for specially arranged transportation or their guests arriving flights.

VIP ESCORTING is a heartfelt service. Company presidents or CEOs may fly in to the Executive Conference Center for the day for a very important meeting. With this service, a member of the professional staff will escort your executive from their arrival gate at the Atlanta Airport to the Executive Conference Center for their meeting or event. Food and beverage are included with Day Meeting Package.
