Hartsfield-Jackson’s Duty Free Expands

Gucci, Polo, Tag Heuer, Armani, Calvin Klein. . . no, it’s not the latest fall collections found in an upscale department store. It’s the selection of premium brands passengers can expect to find in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s newly expanded Duty Free store.

The store, located on Concourse E, will expand in 2007 from 4,500 square feet to 7,000 square feet, making it one of the largest in any major airport and with more than 200 brands offerings over its current selection. A partnership between Aldeasa, HMS Host and Shellis Management Services, the Duty Free store will focus on customer service, offer merchandise unique to the Atlanta airport and create a sense of destination. As concessions manager John Cugasi states, “Our new concessionaires’ retail program will create a sense of place for Hartsfield-Jackson passengers. And we’re pleased that the newly expanded Duty Free store will be in line with what we envision.”
