International
Concourse Emerges with Upscale Amenities
By Triphenya Bailey
What began
as a transformation to enhance and diversify the food offerings
on Hartsfield-Jackson’s International Concourse has
emerged as an upscale, open air food court accented with bright
overhead lighting, an elegant self-playing piano and a range
of seating options. Whether you prefer bistro-style bar seating
or more traditional, family-oriented dining, you are bound
to find the option on Concourse E.
The additions
of Qdoba, an authentic Mexican restaurant, a combination bar
and restaurant like TGI Friday, and fast-food favorites like
McDonald’s and Arby’s has expanded the options
for passengers arriving from or departing to various international
destinations. Concessions Director John Cugasi, along with
his experienced Concessions Management team, worked with construction
crews, planners and engineers to transform the concourse and
enhance the dining experience for Hartsfield-Jackson passengers.
“We
believe these new amenities and concepts will add to Atlanta’s
world class status,” said Cugasi.
