‘Tis the Season to be Jolly at the World’s
Busiest Airport

In case you have not heard by now, aviation officials at Hartsfield-Jackson
Atlanta International Airport are celebrating a stellar year in performance
after accepting several awards from leading industry organizations and trade
publications.
Georgia’s economic crown jewel received a host of top honors, such as “Most Efficient Airport in the World” while Airport General Manager Ben DeCosta was selected as “Best Airport Director.”
“We are delighted that members of the aviation community continue to recognize our overall commitment and dedication to passengers and employees,” said DeCosta. “As the world’s busiest airport, we have provided excellent customer service and worked to enhance the overall travel experience for each individual passing through our facility.”
In 2007, Hartsfield-Jackson received the following honors:
- Best Large U.S. Airport
American Express’ Executive Traveler magazine
- Most Efficient Airport in the World

- Diversity Leadership Award
