member films scenes at Hartsfield-Jackson Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of the famed R&B/hip-hop girl group TLC stopped by Hartsfield-Jackson recently, but not to fly off to a performance. She shot a small segment at the Airport for her upcoming reality show. The show, “The Chilli Project,” is set to air in spring 2010 on VH1. During filming on November 19, Chilli was saying goodbye to a relationship expert and friend, Tionna Smalls, at the Airport. The three-member group TLC was popular during the 1990s and had hits such as “Baby, Baby, Baby,” “Creep” and “Waterfalls.” The group lost one member, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, in April 2002, when she died in a car accident in Honduras. Since then, the group has performed with the two surviving members and has had a reality show, “R U the Girl,” that gave the winner a chance to perform with TLC. An Atlanta native, Chilli flies through Hartsfield-Jackson occasionally. “I don’t know if it’s because of who I am, but it’s a great experience flying through here [Hartsfield-Jackson],” she said. “Everyone is so sweet.” In addition to the new reality show, Chilli said that
“more of TLC” is in store in 2010.
