Hartsfield-Jackson launches Flickr page

Hartsfield-Jackson’s work to engage passengers through social media has expanded with the addition of an Airport “Photostream” on Flickr.com. The site gives the Airport a means of sharing photographs and videos that represent some of the work and developments at Hartsfield-Jackson, and all of the images can be downloaded and used publicly.

The Flickr page joins the Airport’s Facebook fan page, which has nearly 1,600 fans, and YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/atlantahartsfield), which has accrued more than 116,000 video views.

Hartsfield-Jackson’s Flickr page features photos that illustrate current projects as well as vintage photos such as this one from the Airport’s past.

Stakeholder Report available online

The 2009 Stakeholder Report, produced by the Office of Public Affairs, highlights several accomplishments at Hartsfield-Jackson last year.

The report describes major developments in 2009, including the debut of the rental car center, ongoing work on the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal, the Concessions initiative that brought more than 80 new stores to Hartsfield-Jackson, and the Airport’s new recycling program, GreenSortATL.

Hard copies of the Stakeholder Report are being distributed to stakeholders, including local, state and federal officials. The report is online at www.atlanta-airport.com under Business Information (Reports).
