The Georgia Lottery’s promotion to welcome the Powerball jackpot to the state, which involved a high-energy dance routine featuring more than 100 dancers, caused a stir not only in the Atrium but also in the media in the days afterward.

The February 2 event was reported by WSB-TV Channel 2 and in two stories posted on Examiner.com. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution posted its own abbreviated video of the event on accessAtlanta.com, and the newspaper’s Q&A on the News feature addressed several questions from a reader who enjoyed the spectacle.

Lufthansa Cargo’s expanded service at Hartsfield-Jackson brought coverage in the Atlanta Business Chronicle on February 9 and Global Atlanta on February 15 as well as in cargo trade publications. Airport Improvement magazine featured Hartsfield-Jackson’s concessions program and the “first-class experiences” they offer in a feature story in its January/February issue.   The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer on February 2 alerted travelers to the Airport Art Program’s “Into the Fog” exhibit.
