Several media outlets in mid-March covered the announcement that Hartsfield-Jackson again had topped the list as the world’s busiest airport.

The story appeared in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, on WABE-FM, in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and on WXIA Channel 11.

“Better Mornings Atlanta” on CBS featured Hartsfield-Jackson’s landscaping operation in its Dirty Jobs segment on March 17. Abra Lee, landscape manager, guided reporter Corinna Allen through the work of pruning, trimming and composting around trees on the Airport’s property. USA Today’s Airport Check-In feature on March 15 mentioned the Airport’s installation of Step ’n Wash in all restrooms to give children a boost to the sinks. WXIA Channel 11 on March 1 aired a story about the return of Olympian bronze medalist and Georgia resident Elena Meyers, who was interviewed about her experience in Vancouver when she arrived to an enthusiastic welcome at Hartsfield-Jackson.
