welcomes Beijing airport officials
Hartsfield-Jackson officials met with senior officials from the world’s second-busiest airport, Beijing Capital International Airport, on August 3 to share information about best practices.
The 13-person delegation from Beijing Capital toured the airfield and met with Hartsfield-Jackson’s senior staff to learn about the Airport’s capital improvement projects, planning and development, business development and other functions during the one-day summit.
“This provides a great opportunity for our staff to share knowledge about running the world’s busiest airport,” said interim Aviation General Manager Robert Kennedy. “We have been recognized by international organizations for our efficiency and achievements, and we are honored to be asked to share our expertise.”
Hartsfield-Jackson has received the Air Transport Research Society’s top award for efficiency for eight consecutive years.
