| Hartsfield-Jackson in the news The Airport Art Program’s eventful December was reflected in several media stories about the exhibits and the program overall. The first exhibit as part of the Atlanta Military Gateway Youth Art Program was officially unveiled on December 7. The rotating exhibit of children’s artwork appears in the check-in area for military personnel and reflects themes of hope, freedom and gratitude. The exhibit was covered by WGCL-TV Channel 5, WSB-TV Channel 2 (not available online) and USA Today. The Airport’s collaboration with People to People International and the Colorful Arts Society to display 15 murals by children in Concourse E also drew media attention. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution ran a feature story about the exhibit, which it said was one of the best local exhibits to embody the holiday season’s true spirit. (At the end of the story was a mention of other exhibits that Airport visitors could see outside of the secured area.) The murals also were added into CNN’s description of the artwork in general at Hartsfield-Jackson. In other news:
