Hartsfield-Jackson hosts Concessions Industry Day

Hartsfield-Jackson and the City of Atlanta on January 19 will host Concessions Industry Day to share information with business owners and the public about the Airport’s upcoming requests for proposals (RFPs) for concessions contracts.

The event at the Georgia International Convention Center will consist of two sessions: a general session from 9 a.m. to noon and a session on technical specifications from 2 to 5 p.m. Concessions Industry Day is designed to give businesses more information about the RFP process and to provide feedback and answers to questions.

The Airport will put out RFPs in February for retail concessions on Concourse E and in the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal and food and beverage concessions on concourses T, A, B, C and D and in the Atrium and the international terminal.

City of Atlanta and Airport staff — in areas such as concessions, procurement, compliance, risk management, and planning and development — will give an overview of the RFP process; discuss program goals, structure and timelines for the RFP; and solicit feedback from the attendees.
