With AeroClinic, help is at hand

Cold and flu season doesn’t always respect people’s travel schedules, and medical needs don’t arise only when people are at home.

Fortunately, travelers are never far away from medical assistance at Hartsfield-Jackson. People still should call 911 in emergencies, but for other medical concerns, a traveler can consult the AeroClinic at the Airport.

The AeroClinic’s services include occupational medicine, primary care and urgent care. The medical professionals there can handle patient testing, pre-employment physicals, drug screenings, workers’ compensation services and acute care.

“The AeroClinic has proven to be a very convenient resource for the traveling public, Airport employees and their families,” Aviation General Manager Louis Miller said.

The AeroClinic is open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The facility is on the third floor of the Airport’s Atrium next to the United Service Organizations.
