Miller honored by Georgia Trend

Aviation General Manager Louis Miller was listed among the 100 Most Influential Georgians by Georgia Trend magazine and was among the honorees at a luncheon on January 25 at the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta.

“Miller has been running full speed since taking over as manager of the world’s busiest airport in September 2010,” the article reads. “He’s now seeing two big projects nearing completion, with the new Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal opening this spring and the awarding of contracts for the Airport’s food and beverage concessions. Next top priority on his to-do list: increasing the Airport’s cargo business.”

Also included on the list are prominent businesspeople such as Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank and key leaders in government, including Gov. Nathan Deal, U.S. Rep. John Lewis and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.

The performers are Frankie’s Blues Mission (February 3), Charles Marshall “The Jazz Ambassador” (February 10), The Sounds of Essence (February 17) and Satin Finish Band (February 24).
