Airport senior staff restructured

Aviation General Manager Louis Miller announced on April 5 that the Airport’s senior staff has been adjusted to have two deputy general managers.

Balram Bheodari, who had been serving as deputy in an interim role, is permanent in the role. Roosevelt Council Jr. also is a deputy general manager.

Reporting to Bheodari are the assistant general managers of Planning and Development, Operations and Maintenance, and Public Safety and Security. Reporting to Council are the assistant general managers of Commercial Development and Accounting and Finance as well as the senior Procurement officer.

Also, the 800-person Operations, Maintenance and Security (OMS) division is being split into two divisions, each of which is managed by an assistant general manager.

The Public Safety and Security division includes Security, C4, Fire and Police. Richard Duncan is the assistant general manager for this division.
 
The Operations, Maintenance and Transportation division includes Operations, Maintenance, Ground Transportation, Automated People Mover, Safety Management System and International Terminal Contract Administrator. Paul Meyer, director of Operations, is the interim assistant general manager for this division, and Kim Wade serves as interim director of Operations.
