Hartsfield-Jackson Inbound Roadway Improvement Project to Cause Detours Beginning December 5
By Scott Henry

Travelers are advised to pay close attention to new signage and approach the Airport with caution

ATLANTA Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will enter the next phase of its inbound roadway improvement project on December 5, after a one-day delay due to rainy conditions. This next phase will create a temporary detour for customers approaching the Airport from the north and will be fully in place by 5 a.m. Thursday morning.

The detour on Airport Boulevard, effective through April 2014, will change how southbound customers access the parking lots and the terminals. Prominent signage will be on display leading up to and along the detour. Drivers are strongly encouraged to obey the 25 mph speed limit posted throughout Airport roadways.
