What is CONRAC?
CONRAC is what Hartsfield-Jackson engineers and employees have been calling the
new rental car center since planning began in 1999. CONRAC is an acronym that stands
for Consolidated Rental Agency Complex. However, most Hartsfield-Jackson rental
car customers using the new facility once it opens in November likely won’t know
what CONRAC means. So, as the construction phase ends and the operational phase
approaches, Airport officials decided to call the facility exactly what it is: Hartsfield-Jackson’s
new rental car center. When the new facility opens, all rental car companies operating
in the passenger terminal will move to the rental car center. It will house all
customer transaction counters and all vehicles for rental agencies that operate
at Hartsfield-Jackson.
