Airport Officials to Host Atlanta City Councilmembers for Walkthrough of Completed Concourse D Expansion Project
Newest capital project offers nearly 91,000 sq. ft; quadruples space for new concessions

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport officials will provide a special walkthrough of the Airport’s newest capital improvement project located in Concourse D. The midpoint expansion project was completed in mid-July and is a three-level addition that will accommodate approximately 91,000 square feet of additional circulation space for passengers and new concessions.
The project includes two new escalators for passengers and will more than quadruple the previous space for concessions when they open over the next couple of months. Cost estimate of completed expansion is approximately $47.3 million.
