Airport Job Fairs Getting Strong Response

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport hosts two annual
job fairs. The first one in 2006 will be May 31, at the Georgia International
Convention Center in College Park, Georgia www.gicc.com.
The Airport business community has always shown strong support for
these job fairs. Increased support for this event is building rapidly.
With five weeks to go before the job fair, 10 companies have committed
to attend. This response is quite a bit ahead of the normal schedule
for these events. "Most of our job fairs get about 25 to 30 companies,"
commented Myrna White, Hartsfield-Jackson's director of Public Affairs.
"At the current rate companies are committing, we should exceed 30
vendors easily," Ms. White added.
Airlines, construction companies, retail and food shops, cargo companies
and government agencies make up the largest industry groups participating
in our past job fairs.
