New! Parking Revenue
Control System (PRCS)
To further enhance the Airport Parking Operation customer service and
efficiency, plans are underway to install a state-of-the art Parking
Revenue Control System, which is scheduled for completion by the latter
part of 2007. The most visible system features, which will be available
to airport customers are as follows: (1) Pay-on-Foot Stations (POF)
strategically located with dual capabilities to accept cash and credit
cards, (2) Intercom functionality at all entrance lanes to allow our
customers to communicate their needs or concerns immediately, (3) Space
count system with real time interactive displays of space availability
status. The space count system will also maintain accurate count of
available spaces on each level of the decks, as well as, over all counts
in the surface lots, and (4) Credit Card express lanes. Customers will
have the option to utilize POF stations and avoid waiting in lines during
peak period at the cashier booths.
New Valet Service
In keeping with our mission, “to be the World’s Best Airport
by Exceeding Customers Expectations”, plans are underway to enhance
the Total Customer Service experience at Hartsfield –Jackson Atlanta
International Airport. Our goal is to provide a valet service which
is distinct and superior to other parking options available to the traveling
public, and utilize the latest state of-the- art technology available
in the parking industry. The Valet Service will be conveniently located
on the first level of North Parking Deck and the 3rd level of the South
Parking Deck, which is scheduled to come on-line in 2008.
New Silver Reserve Lot
The Silver Lot is designed to accommodate customers who prefer a reserved
space at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta Airport. This lot is a spin
off from Gold Reserve Parking, which will also afford the opportunity
to become a member of the Silver Club and guarantee parking accommodations.
This lot will be located on airport adjacent to South Terminal Parkway,
just minutes away. This lot is scheduled to come on line in 2008. This
concept is ideal for customers with busy schedules and prefers hassle-
free, no wait in lines and a guaranteed space.
New Parking Spaces
As a the Silver Reserve Lot, there are an additional 1,300 parking spaces.
Overall, this will bring the Airport’s total parking spaces to
more than 30,000.
